Exciting news

We’re pleased to announce further exciting news relating to the expansion of Camping Connect into the WiFi Market. In March 2019, Camping Connect acquired the equipment and services provided by Caravan Connect taking over all the sites in the UK and Ireland along with the contracts to provide their guest’s WiFi.

Both Camping Connect and the team at Caravan Connect are extremely excited about this as we see it as a positive outcome for park owners and guests. Camping Connect has been operating holiday park Wi-Fi services since 2011 and now has over 500 parks connected throughout the UK, Ireland, and parts of Europe.

As part of this transition, we will be replacing all the existing equipment and installing brand new, faster transmitters to further enhance the experience for your guests. The upgrades will be happening throughout 2019. In addition to better equipment, guests at Caravan Connect sites will be able to now connect using their games consoles and multiple devices, which again is a massive benefit and something I know parks have been asking for.

End-user support will be provided by Camping Connect, just as it was with Caravan Connect using the same telephone numbers and the same email address.

The pricing model will be slightly different but the overall costs to your guests will be less than they are paying right now per device and they will have much more flexibility on how long they subscribe for, ranging from two hours through to one year.
